“What is Somatic movement?”
Somatic movement is about slowing down and tuning into your body from the inside out. Think of it as listening to your body’s quiet signals—stretching when you feel tight or swaying gently to release tension. It’s a bridge to moving more intuitively, helping you tap into your body’s natural ability to heal and the neuroplasticity of your brain.
In these sessions, you’ll be gently guided through a series of movements designed to help you release tension, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with ease. However, this is your practice. You’ll always have the space to listen to your body’s unique needs and make choices about how you move.
There’s no right or wrong—just an invitation to explore and find what feels supportive and nourishing for you. Over time, this practice can help you notice when stress is building before it overwhelms you, leaving you calmer, more present, and deeply connected—not just in your mind, but in your whole being.

Here’s how to make the most of each session:
🕊️ Set the Time Aside Just for You
Treat this as your time—a gift to yourself. Let others know you’ll be unavailable for the session, silence your phone, and step away from any distractions.
🛋️✨ Create Your Cozy Space
Prepare a space that feels inviting. Bring along anything that helps you feel supported: pillows, blankets, a yoga mat if you have one, or even an eye mask. Whether it’s your living room floor or a corner in your bedroom, make it a haven.
🙏 Have Props at Hand
While this session doesn’t require special equipment, you might like to have a bolster, blocks, or even a sturdy cushion nearby to support you during the practice.
🌀 Know What to Expect
Each session is unique, but here’s the rhythm you can count on: We’ll always begin by regulating the body, creating a sense of safety and grounding. From there, I’ll guide you through a gentle process to release the week and reconnect with what makes you feel good. Sometimes, this will feel slow and deeply soothing; other times, you may leave feeling a lightness and uplift in your body and heart.

Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or have never stepped on a mat, this is your space. Movements are gentle and intuitive, with no expectation to “perform.” It’s all about what feels good in your body. Let this be your moment to pause, breathe, and re-align with what you need most.
